What sets My Matcha apart from other brands?

What does “ceremonial grade” actually mean?
This is the highest quality matcha — made from the youngest leaves, shade-grown to boost nutrients, and naturally sweet and smooth. It's the kind traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies.
Where is your matcha sourced from?
Our matcha is grown in Kagoshima, Japan and stone-milled in Kyoto — both renowned for producing high-quality Japanese tea. Every step honors centuries of tradition.
Is your matcha organic?
Yes! Our matcha is certified organic and grown without synthetic chemicals or pesticides.
What are the health benefits of matcha?
Matcha is rich in antioxidants, supports metabolism and immunity, and contains L-theanine for calm focus — all with a clean energy boost and no crash.
How do I make matcha at home?
Sift 1–2 scoops into a bowl, add a splash of hot (not boiling) water, and whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy. Add more water or milk to taste. Done!
What tools do I need?
We recommend using a bamboo whisk (chasen), bamboo scoop (chashaku), and a matcha bowl for best results.
Can I cook or bake with My Matcha?

Is My Matcha vegan and gluten-free?
100%! Our matcha is plant-based, gluten-free, and contains no additives or fillers.
Can I return matcha if I change my mind?
Because matcha is a food product, we can’t accept returns unless it’s damaged or defective. Check out our returns policy or reach out at hello@mymatcha.com.au.
Why does the name on my bank statement look different from My Matcha?
Great question! While we operate under our trading name, My Matcha, the bank account used to process payments is still registered under our prior company name and ABN, The Build Buddy Co Pty Ltd. So if you see The Build Buddy Co on your bank statement, don’t worry — that’s us! We will be updating this soon.
